Winter? What winter?

The past few weeks have delivered beautiful weather to the midwest.  It was January?  I highlydoubt that Mattie (and friends) were complaining!  Just  a little fun driving (well, riding) and smooching monkeys (well, chimps).

 Christmas Day Arrived!  Mattie Kay loved so many of her gifts!  We were able to spend Christmas morning in Kansas and then drive to be with the rest of our family in Missouri later that day!  It was a great holiday!

A Magical Time of Year

It has already been such a wonderful season for us!  Age 2 is a great age to truly enjoy the magic of the season!  Looking forward to the next two weeks of fun Christmas festivities!

I love that smile!  This past weekend our neighborhood had its first Fall Festival together!  We had such a good time and have photos to prove it! 

Ahh Zoo Day

My birthday came early....

My precious husband knows how much I love photographs!  He surprised me with a wonderful nice new "fancy" camera.  Here are a few from my first day of experimenting!  I can hardly wait to actually learn how to use it properly!

The Rookie

Her first bicycle!  Grandpa has been saving this special bike for our little one until her legs were long enough!  It will take lots of practice but it was a great start!  Thanks Grandpa!
