I've officially lost my mind....

Tonight, Jeff and I decided to run out and grab a bite to eat. We were gone for approximately two hours. Our dogs let themselves outside because we have the best invention in the world, a dog door! So, when we usually arrive home, both of our dogs greet us at the door. This time it was a little odd, because only Solomon was there and he didn't act very excited. So, I went to the backyard and yelled out for Molly but she didn't answer. I figured she was probably doing something she shouldn't (like chewing a sock or digging a hole), so I walked the entire backyard but didn't find Molly. Jeff and I "spread out" and searched the house but didn't find Molly. Solomon all the while was acting strange, almost sad. Then it hit us, Molly was gone. There was no way for Molly to get out of the backyard unless she suddenly grew springy legs like a Tiger and could jump a tall fence. Our house has an ally that runs behind it and people do walk back there. So, I set out on foot hollering "Molly" while Jeff took the car out to search. Our neighbors were outside so Russ hopped on his motorcycle and started searching. I got to the end of the block and Jeff picked me up. He said, "Andrea, Molly didn't get out, someone had to have taken her". Oh my stars, how can someone have taken my dog??? What is sad is, last weekend our bunny rabbit died and all I could say was, I just lost my rabbit, I can't lose Molly. As my neighbor was consoling me, Jeff walks out holding my Molly. You see, earlier in the evening when I was getting ready to leave the house I needed to iron my shirt. Our ironing board is in the back bedroom and we keep it locked so the dogs stay out. Well, Molly is small and quick and made her way into the room without me knowing it and I locked her in. While I did a top to bottom "search" of the house (which included under the bed and in the locked basement), I never looked in that room because no one had been in there. Oh my stars. Needless to say, I laid down and took a power nap after this incident. I've seriously lost my mind!!!

Oh Redd, I'm glad that you found her. I was tearing up reading that first part.
