Sewing-palooza

I have submerged myself into sewing this week!  I got a lot of sewing accomplished that I've been wanting to do! 

 First, I finally got curtains made and hung in the living room!

I made a fun little messenger bag!  (Can't wait to try it out today!)

And finally, I made a crayon roll!  Yay for projects!

Winter Hats

 My newest project is hats!  I had no idea what I was doing, so I just made it up as I went along.  I am pretty proud of how they turned out! 

Mattie isn't the biggest fan of wearing hats, just yet!  The last one just goes to show she is not my fashion baby, she just wanted to go play!

What a Hoot!

First Halloween!  She makes such a cute owl!

It is complete!

Yay! It is pretty much done. All the furniture is in and filled with things for Mattie Kay!
The dresser/changer is ready to go and stocked with some serious diapers and wipes!

And the last two additions, the glider (which is soooooooo comfy its ridiculous) and the chifferobe! Yay! I am so excited. I have very small things left to do and it will be complete!

I am inspired...and a little out of control....

I was looking for a new project for Mattie Kay.

So I was looking on a crafting website and was inspired by baby shoes! I mentioned to Jeff that I thought I would give it a try and he sort of snickered at me. I don't think he believed I could do it and didn't really understand why I would do it. But I am rather proud of my two creations I did today. They are really adorable if I do say so myself. But seriously, I think its time I stop making things for Mattie Kay....maybe for this week anyway.

Coming right along! I hadn't posted a pic of the crib with bedding and curtains yet. ..so this is what I've done so far! Ahh, I just love it!

Baby Projects....

Well, I am consumed by the world of baby! I've started looking at things in stores and online and have been inspired to make them for much less money! My latest project (yesterday that is), is a pacifier saver. I've found some at Target that were okay...but found some fun and pretty ones online for much more money. So, if you know me, this wouldn't surprise you at all, I've looked at them and figured out how to make them and bam.....my first two I made out of fabric and I am going to try ribbon next. So, here is my latest project....
