Update on my Ironman!

I haven't had the chance to update you on how Jeff did at the Half Ironman! There were over 1500 competitors including around 35 professionals. First of all, he survived! Second of all, I am really proud of him! And thirdly, he finished! His final time for the half Ironman was about 6 hours and 20 minutes. He consistently stayed in the middle of the pack. The swimming was rough because people were literally clawing over him and the waters were choppy because of wind. The bike route was extremely hilly and weather was continually changing. So, he had a lot of things come his way during the race....but he did awesome! The full Ironman is in August and we will be traveling to Kentucky for that race. He is in full training mode now....so he makes me feel guilty when I want ice cream and he wants to ride his bike for 5 hours!
