Superman...aka my husband went on a hiking trip to Colorado with his friend Mike. Mike wanted to summit Longs Peak (14,259 feet above sea level...and Longs Peak is the mountain on the Colorado Quarter) which is in the Rocky Mountain National Forest. In order to hike the mountain this year, they had to do it this past weekend before the snow started falling.....
We had arrived home from Kentucky last Tuesday and Jeff left the following Saturday. They traveled 8 hours to Estes Park and finally arrived back home yesterday. They did it! They made it to the top of the mountain! I think that Jeffs legs are tired and I just can't imagine why....140 miles one weekend and 14,259 feet up in the sky the next weekend. I really do think I'm married to superman!

Ok, I gotta say that just HEARING about Jeff's activities makes me tired.
Amen to that....you don't see me doing those things. I enjoy my taffy from Estes, CO and my cute shirt from Ironman. I don't need to actually participate to enjoy the events!!
