Oh Baby!

Since I am officially 20 weeks along tomorrow.....I have been reflecting on my pregnancy so far. It is SOOOO not what I expected. You always hear what a joy it is, how you glow and are so beautiful.....hmmm. Don't get me wrong, it is a "joy" but I am not glowing and it has not made me beautiful! Strange things happen when you become pregnant. And as I understand, every pregnancy is in my reflection, I thought I'd share a few and you can share some of yours back with me!
Morning isn't in the morning. It happens all day, any time of day and many days. I expected to be vomiting a lot....but instead I was struck with the constant state of nausea, which I think is worse!!!
PBD....Pregnancy Brain Dead. You've read many instances of my stupidity (since becoming pregnant).....I won't even go there.
Nose Bleeds....seriously, is that necessary? My doctor says its normal since my heart is having to pump so much more these days.
Skin Tags....anyone? Its an addition of new skin....sort of like a mole, but not. It is even in my pregnancy book as being a symptom. We will not discuss where they are located either!
Hair change....I've noticed that my hair has changed consistency. It used to be fairly normal before but now its gone through weird changes. For a few weeks it was oily, then it went to course and now dry and icky......
Heart heart races sometimes and does a weird fluttering thing. Once again, I'm told its normal.....
Who knew right? I've had many more "things" happen, but we won't go there. Just some of the "joys" I've had so far. As weird as some of them are, I wouldn't trade them in for anything (except maybe the nausea, whew that was bad)!

I too had skin tags in all sorts of places. Weird, I know. They eventually will go away, but as of today (Kate is 5 mos) I still have them!
I had a terrible case of vertigo once with Kate. I woke up in the middle of the night and the entire room was spinning. I hadn't even raised my head or tried to get out of bed. I just woke up and the ceiling was a blur. I felt like I was going to have a panic attack and woke up Tyson. He helped me through it and I didn't have another one again. Weird stuff. The doctor said it was normal and that I should drink more water. That's their answer to everything!

Oh and one more thing . . . your hair will get thicker in pregnancy and when the baby is about 4 months old it will start to fall out in handfuls. Don't worry, it's normal. But very annoying and worrisome!
